I have a leasure bay spa model is cordova, it was tripping breaker I unplugged the heater and it ran fine except wouldn't heat of course. now it is throwing a SN3 code which is the temperature sensor. Could the temperature sensor be the whole problem or could it also be the pressure switch?

if your hot tub is tripping the breaker, it could be due to a worn out ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) breaker, which is responsible for preventing electrical surges. You can try flipping the breaker to see if it trips again. If it does, then you may need to replace the breaker.
Another possible cause of the problem could be loose electrical connections in your hot tub . This can lead to power fluctuations that cause your hot tub circuit breaker to trip. Professional electricians can inspect your hot tub and tighten any connections that are loose, which should fix the circuit breaker problem.
If your spa is not receiving power, you should check your home's circuit breaker to ensure that it's not tripped . Reset the circuit breaker if it's tripped to restore power to the spa. If the circuit breaker keeps tripping, it may be an indication of an electrical problem, and you should call a professional electrician to diagnose and fix the issue
heaters are normally on a independent breaker, inspect the element, any wiring .is the breaker the right size?possible short in switch are thermastat.may want a heat and air guy to look at that.
This could be caused by a couple things. In order for your spa to heat your pump must be working, your heater and heater sensors must be good. If your heater is bad usually the breaker will trip. If that's not happening read below... Does water shoot out of the jets when you press the jets 1 button? If not then you have a bad pump or the pump is air locked. The heater can't turn on if the pump does not push water through the heater. You'll know if this is happening because you'll get an error code on your control pad. So your jets are working but no heat. This is the most common problem. Your spa has a sensor that tells the spa if it's ok to turn the heater on. That sensor is prone to failure so everything can be fine but the heater will not turn on. Get the model number off your spa pack and click the link below. Call and tell them you need a pressure switch and give them the model number. Install the new switch and you're back in action.
I'm willing to bet that the heater is grounded. Probably burnt up the original switch, heater wasn't getting power, therefore not tripping the breaker. Now the switch works, heater gets power and immediately trips breaker. Unhook the switch and tape the wires, reset breaker and try in heat and cool. If no problems it's likely the heater.
IF when the spa control calls for heat and it trips the breaker when the heater comes on then you have a bad heating element and it will need to be changed. Disconnect the power to the spa. Disconnect the two wires going to the heater and then turn the spa back on. If the spa stays running without the heater attached then that will be your source of trouble. New heater and you will be all fixed up.
