Makes the whole operation sound super impressive. Let me tell you about my attempt to buy a Rolex. You would have to unscrew the back (needs a special tool) and leave it open to dry..then probably have it cleaned. Only a professional watch mender can do this.

You definitely need special Rolex case back opener. Without it your watch will be locked forever. Rolex cases are so tight, that even when special opener is used, you will need quite strong arms to open it. Rolex case openers sometimes sells on ebay, but they are never cheap.

They are somewhat tough to get open. You really need a specail tool for a Rolex to avoid damage or scratching of the case back as you must unscrew the case back. I suggest you have some one do this for you that has the tool, Why mess up a really nice timepiece!

You need to go to a place that sells watch and jewelry supplies, because there is a certain tool for opening a Rolex. I am interested in knowing why you need to open it up though. If this is a Authentic Rolex ALL womans Rolex watches are automatics. Try unscrewing the crown (the part used to set the time ) counter clockwise and then clockwise turn the crown and listen to hear it winding, if it is infact an automatic, wind it 50 times. After winding, push crown in ( it is spring loaded) and screw in clockwise. It should run. If wearing every day you will not have to wind again, if wearing less frequently rewind as specified.
