How to find meid number on a i870 phone - Motorola Mobility i870 Cellular Phone

slide the back off...remove the battery.....the number is under the battery

To find the Mobile Equipment Identifier (MEID) on your device, following the steps below:

1. From the Home screen, touch Applications > Settings > About phone > Status.
2. The MEID is provided in two formats:
   • Dec: Decimal number
   • Hex: Hexadecimal number

   NOTE: If your number contains a 0, it is the number 0 (zero).

What do you mean fix the MEID ? What's wrong with it, you can't change the phones MEID it's the serial that identifies the phone

May be IMEI not MEID the code *#06# is to view IMEI for general.
NB: IMEI means
I = International
M = Mobile
E = Equipment
I = Identification

7.7 Security

The Security menu allows you to

secure the phone electronically.

1. Open the flip and press

[MENU]

2. Press Settings & Tools.

3. Press Phone Settings.

4. Press Security.

5. Enter the four-digit lock code.

The lock code is the last 4 digits

of your mobile phone number if

it is set. The lock code is the last

4 digits of your MEID if your
mobile phone number is not set.

The MEID number can usually be found in two places on your phone.

1) Remove the battery. Under it, there should be a small sticker attached to your phone. Your ESN/MEID number should be on it.

2) If you are unable to find it under your battery, put your battery back in your phone and boot it up. Then press the following keys: * # 0 6 # (Star, Pound, Zero, Six, Pound) Your phone should display your ESN/MEID number.

On many phones (but not all) on the phone's keypad press the following keys: * # 0 6 # (Star, Pound, Zero, Six, Pound) This will display your ESN or MEID number.

If this doesn't work, turn your phone off and remove the battery. Under the battery will be a white label with either the ESN number or the MEID number. If you see both, use the MEID number.

If you enter wrong password for more then 5 times,it ll ask you to enter the puk number....now call your customer care and
get the puk number...enter the puk number in the space given for password....thats it...problem is fixed
If you had locked your mobile then update the formware all saved passwords will be deleted.

OR if you contact your customer care they will unlock from there.

I had the same problem initially for the longest time, but I finally found the MEID number...I don't believe the Voyager has an ESN; I think it only has a MEID number. I also have the Voyager, and I am trying to switch from the phone I'm currently using to my Voyager (my other one broke.) But the MEID number is on the inside of the phone, where you place the battery/back cover. It should be on the sticker that says "MODEL NO" on top. And right below where it says "MADE IN KOREA," it should read "H/W REV : 1. 0" unless your number is different. Right below that it should read "MEID : ," with the 14 digit number; I hope this helped!
