ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS AND VIDEOS TO A COMPUTER
If your photos and videos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos and to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.

SOURCE: windows 7 will not let

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

Cannot get a driver to load off line. 64 bit windows7 no disk

First run Delete Print Jobs to remove any stuck print job in the queue.

Disconnect the printer.

Download and run the patch(printer cleanup utility) until it prompts you to restart your computer.

Restart your computer. Make sure the printer is removed.
Manual Printer Driver Removal

Download the Vista 32-bit drivers for Windows 7 32-bit or the Vista 64-bit drivers for Windows 7 64-bit. Install the Vista drivers in the Vista
Compatibility mode You'll get a message, the printer is not connected. Connect the printer at this time(powered on).

Can't find a driveer for my lexmark x1185 printer that supports windows7. my disk that came with the printer will not load. can anyone help? I also went to lexmark website and it had nothing.

Use Vista Driver in Windows 7. Windows Vista drivers are compatible with Windows 7.
Driver Support
For many of Lexmark products, the Vista driver will work in the Windows 7 environment.

DOWNLOAD THE VISTA DRIVER:

My cam is not compatible to windows7

Here is how to Install them so they work. Download your XP driver you wish to install. If it's in a zip/rar file then extract it to your desktop. You should have a simple .exe file sitting on your desktop to install the drivers, as normal for XP. Right click the .exe file and select "Properties". Then select the tab called "Compatibility" Now check the box next to "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" Make sure "Windows XP Service Pack 2" is highlighted. Now apply the settings and run the installer. This should work for most drivers, but not all. make sure you install and run all.any programs as Administrator.

I just bought the EasyCam Pro today and the disk says Windows 98, 2000, ME, and XP. I have Windows 7 and when I loaded the disk and clicked on drivers it froze up at 70%.

I would suggest you trade it in for a windows7 model - Logitech or Microsoft
If that's not an option - download the software from here and run the webcam in Compatibility mode
