SOURCE: Olympus SP550UZ photos saved on camera memory not card

In the Menu if you go to the option that says Setup and press ok there should be an option that says Backup. This should allow you to copy the images from the internal memory to your xD card.

Olympus 1050 SW completely unresponsive to any button

the lens may be stuck ... that is not coming out or not returning in either condition causes it to do something like that ,i.e blingink red light or an error code etc .... solution is that you'll need to open up the camera with a set of precission screw drivers and manually turn in or out the lens to start it back in operation either ways its a bit technical if you never did it before ....could be caused by moisture getting into the camera .....

Olympus D-40Zoom won't stay on 165 pics.

If you go to the menu and turn the menu option of ALL RESET from ON to OFF it should retain the image quality setting that you have selected to allow for more images to be stored on the memory card

Memory stick problems

Try taking memory card to someone with a card reader on their computer, if it's going to work then a reader will get it to work. If it doesn't work then reformatting is the least expensive option, unless you take it to Specialists to have it analyzed. If card won't format then it probabaly has gone bad.

Redeye

Red-eye is actually caused by the light from the flash bouncing off the back of the retina and picking up the color red from the blood vessels. To correct this effect, follow these steps: Turn the mode dial to PlayBack Mode (green arrow) and display the image with redeye. Press OK\Menu button. Using the arrow pad, navigate to MODE MENU>EDIT>REDEYE FIX. Press the right arrow key, START will display. Press OK\Menu After {BUSY} bar displays, a screen will display with an option to cancel or save the image. ? If the option [Go] is displayed, press the OK\Menu button. This saves a corrected version of the image. ? If the option CANCEL is displayed, than the camera was unable to correct the image. Press the left arrow key to exit. This correction may not work on all pictures. If you import the original image into Olympus Master software you can also apply the Red-Eye fix located in the Edit menu. This lets you precisely pinpoint the eye area and remove the red. It even lets you remove green or blue, which can occur with animals.
