The lens will not come out - FUJIFILM FinePix S2500HD / S2600HD Digital Camera

While turning the lens look at the lens mount. Does the lens turn but the mount stay stationary? If so maybe there is a connection issue. With the release button pressed then rapidly turning the lens back and forth, maybe it will release. Maybe something simple, or the lens connector to the lens mount or lens mount itself is the issue.

For error message 01 the manual says: Communications between the camera and lens is faulty. Clean lens contacts.
Solve: Clean the electrical contacts on the camera and lens and use a Canon lens.
SO if you are using a different lens or a non Canon lens this could be what is wrong.

If you never changed a lens, it still can be that something went wrong in the communication between the camera and lens. Just careful remove the lens and with a dry and lint free cloth, clean all contacts on the lens and in the camera. While working on the lens, close the camera with the camera cap, or put the camera face down.
Don't use anything sharp while working on a lens or a camera.

Fisheye is the extreme of a wide angle lens. I think you are not using a fish eye lens, but a fish eye adopter. That is a lens that will "shorten" the focal length of a lens most of the time with 30 % sometimes with 50% when you put it in front of your lens. So you could make a 24 mm lens look or act like a 12 mm.
On your tele lens this only will slightly shorten the 55 mm, but even 50 % of 55 is 27 mm and can't be seen as a fish eye.
I think when you put this on a short lens, the picture you get will be round, like you were using a real fish eye.

If the lens do not extend completely, then problem is lens itself.. When this happens the motor is unable to retract or to extend the lens either because one of the lens rings is damaged, or because of dust inside lens rings. Sometimes lens error occurs because batteries are nearly drained and insufficient power to lens motor. This will cause the lens rings getting out of alignment and you get jammed lens. In other cases the lens gets jammed either because of dust or dirt or because of a mechanical problem.As a result the camera freezes with lens half of the way out.

In some case the lens can be unjammed manually (see the tips below), more commonly the lens and the camera must be disassembled and there is no other way to fix the problem.

Try the tricks below. They rarely work, but you never know:

Test always with fully charged batteries you need as much power as you can get to unlock the lens. Ensure that batteries are Alkaline or good working rechargeable.
If there is dust or sand in lens blow air with a compressor on top the lens..
Sometimes methods like helping the lens movement while turning camera on and off works, but this methods can do more damage to the camera. Help out the lens while turning the camera on.
Remove the battery, point camera to the floor and put back the battery while holding on button and still pointing to the floor. Turn on this way and see if it works.
Connect camera to USB (that gives extra +5V power) and turn on still pointing to the floor.

What lens do you have attached? A flashing F-- indicates the camera and lens are not communicating. This can happen for several reasons:

1. There is no lens attached. Attach a lens.

2. There is a lens attached, but it's what Nikon calls a non-CPU lens. The lens lacks the electrical contacts to communicate with the camera. Set the exposure mode to Manual (M) and adjust the aperture using the aperture ring on the lens. You won't get any metering assistance from the camera's built-in meter.

3. There is a CPU lens attached. Remove the lens, clean the contacts both on the lens and the mount, then reattach the lens. If that doesn't solve it, then either the lens or the camera (or both) need service.

Remove lens, clean contacts, reattach lens, wiggle it some to seat contacts.

Lens errors are fairly common. Usually it's sand or grit interfering with the lens extension mechanism. Or the camera's been dropped with the lens extended. Or the camera has been powered on, but the lens had been blocked preventing its extension. Or the battery ran down with the lens extended ...

Here's some things that you can do to try to correct it. They only seem to work for less than 50% of the lens errors, but if the camera is out of warranty, they're worth a try:

Lens error is usually caused by mechanical faults concerning lens assembly. The lens cannot extend or retract fully, the error is detected and lens error is returned.
Sometimes this can be fixed playing with the lens during extraction or retraction to help the lens asset getting back to normal.
More often the camera lens must be disassembled and re-assembled by a technician to fix the problem.

Was this stuck fully open or was the lens partially opened, or was the lens jammed?

The lens can be removed and replaced with another lens from another non-functioning camera (See ebay). The lens component can also be dissembled. Putting the lens back together is tricky because the parts have to be aligned just right for the lens to work. If working with a Jammed lens, extra care has to be considered not to break any of the moving plastic parts of the lens or that part (if not entire lens) is junk.

With the motor detached from the lens, the lens should extend and retract freely. Use this to test the lens when you dissemble the camera. Be careful of the flash board.
