Trying to give format to a 2GB SD Card in a Konica

Trying to give format to a 2GB Hama-SD Card in a Konica KD 25 it always comes up with Card Errorand I can´t get it to work. Otherwise it works perfectly with a 32 MB card....could it be that the 2GB is too big for this camera

Try to copy the same format of your 32 MB card. Most likely you deleted the volume label of the 2gb sd card.

The SD card 512mb has been working fine about 3 years, then the camera started taking only blank photos. What can I do?

SD cards can fail. # years on a SD card may be all you'll get. Try another card to see if you can record pictures on it. If so, then the card has gone bad. If not , then the camera needs a repair shop.

When I insert the SD card I get a blank picture, I have been using 512mb for 3years, what do I do?

Buy another SD card and insure the memory size of the new card is compatible with the camera... some cameras are very limited in the size of cards they can read.

Hello i have a KONICA Digital REVIO KD-210Z but my Walgreen Photo SDHC 4 GB Memory Card doesnt work on it. PLEASE HELP

The camera is designed to work with SD cards, not SDHC cards. You need to go with SD cards, 2GB and smaller.

My camera won't accept new 2GB SD card. Keep

Do you have pics on the internal memory? You must format the internal memory with no card in the camera. Then, format the card.

Cannot format sd card

You are probably trying to format a micro-SD card that is greater than 2GB eg, micro-SDHC (High Capacity) of 4GB or bigger are not supported by 'older' devices. Stick to 1Gb or 2Gb standard microSD cards for your device.

Hope it helps. Let me know how you go.

Problems with formatting memory card

I'm guessing you're trying to format a new 4GB SDHC card? If so, am sorry to say that your camera was designed before the SDHC format came out. Although it looks exactly the same as a standard SD card, the format the card uses is very different.

You'll need to instead purchase a standard SD card (those that are 2GB or less). Forunately these are very inexpensive these days, with 2GB cards going for around $6 with shipping.

But if you must use 4GB, Transcend makes a 4GB standard SD card, but I can't guarantee that it will work with your camera as anything above 2GB for standard SD may have compliance issues.

I have a kodak c310, trying to format the card and it keeps saying memory full format card, so i format and it comes up FILESYS ERROR e00100, but it's a new card?

The c310 will only accept SD cards up to 2GB.

You haven't said which card you're trying to use but the symptoms are typical of those encountered if you try either a larger capacity SD card (which go to 4GB maximum) or if you're trying to use a later SDHC (the HC means High Capacity) card. The c310 was designed and manufactured before SDHC cards were manufactured and is incompatible at the basic hardware level. SDHC's will fit inside as they have the same form as SD cards, but your camera is unable to use them.

If you have tried using the wrong card then all you need to do to fix the error is to replace it with a standard SD card not exceeding 2GB. In practice you'll find that your camera may have issues with some brands/models of 2GB SD cards but that it will work fine with any make or model of 1GB SD card. The smaller capacity card will also ensure that your camera does not become awkwardly slow in operation.

Hopefully I've answered your question; all I ask in return is that you return the favour by rating my answer.

Cannot seem to get my camera to work

The specifications on page 25 of the User's Manual state that only SD cards between 8MB and 1GB in size can be used in this camera. When I tried a larger-capacity 2GB SD card in this camera it reported that the card needed to be formatted even though the SD card worked fine in my desktop PC's SD card slot. Verify that the capacity of the SD card you're trying to use is 1GB or less, I suspect the error report about formatting is due to the SD card being larger than the camera can handle.
