Hi User ,

In case you have bad sectors in the pen drive ,It wont Function properly , its always advisable to Format the Pen drive and Use it Afresh .

1. Copy the Content of the Pen drive to the Computer

2. Right Click on the Pen Drive Drive Letter Ex E:\ or G;\ and Click on format

3. Select Quick Format

4. Once the Format is Finished ,,Right Click on the pen Drive Letter and Click on properties to Check the Available Free Space

Error message “Remove the write-protection or use another disk”. It won’t also allow you to format!

•Open Start Menu >> Run, type regedit and press Enter, this will open the registry editor.
•Navigate to the following path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies•Double click the key WriteProtect in the right pane and set the value to 0
•In the Value Data Box and press OK button

That is it, done.

The only chance to get data is to try and use different card reader.

What operating system do you use ?
Have you try in any other computer ?
If using PC, try plug in direct to the USB port from the mainboard, do not use any USB HUB or extension.

Perhaps, it may be hardware defect.

it is deteced but did not open

This is cause by a virus or something , first thing that you can do here is to back up all the files from your pen drive and then one everything is already back up you can go ahead and format the drive, just right click the pen drive and select format....that should;d fix the problem,,,,

my transcend pen drive is not showing or hidden

My 2gb hp pen drive showing please insert drive error. Also property showing free space 0 bytes. Please send me hp recovery tool or any equivalent tool to solve the same problem
