Like some others, the power light would flash 3 times and the tv would turn off. At each flash there was a clicking sound from the back/inside the tv. At first it would eventually come on. When it did finally come on, there was obvious power fluctuations, because there were visible distortions in the picture. There were horizontal red lines on a black/gray screen. There was also almost a warping of the picture. Each time it would take more tries to get tv to turn on. Finally quit altogether. Please help me!!! Miss my big screen!!
Very common problem you need to replace the flyback number 259296 and the CP150 you can get replacemnent flyback and cp150 at the following link with free step by step instructions on how to do the repair.

looking in from the back it is the large bard on the far left side. Thats the deflection board the flyback is the large transormer with the large red wire comin out of the top the CP150 is lso locted on that board. The board is alittle to involved to explain the removal proceedure in this forum as you woud need several pages of instructions and photos to remove it correctly. If you send a request to the link I posted they have detailed instructions on how to remove tht board and they would most likely email it to you.
Adjust the focus controls they are located up front behind the speaker panel and the inner access panel. There are 3 buttons for the screen controls and 3 additional buttons for the focus of each of the three CRTs.

Where are they? Have the back off. A lot of circuit boards. Which one is it, and how do i get it out.

Found out that you have to do an autoconvergence on every in put channel(i.e. dvi, composite, component). Its still trying to go out of alignment, tho. The picture from my dvd, coming through dvi at 1080i is awesome. But, my directtv feed coming thru the composite inputs is horrible. Everything is blurry, especially on the menu/channel screens. Am also having power fluctuations or something. Its like a shimmering effect.
