Depends what it needs, what problems it has. If no problems oil change for engine and trans primary, oil filter, air filter and spark plugs are likely all you would need. Depending on mileage you could/should find out what inspection is due, if any and do what is on the inspection sheets. If you have laced wheels check the spoke tension and drive belt and primary chain tension/deflection/ check the brake pads, rotors for wear etc and if the brake fluid has not been changed for some time you may want to flush the systems even though it is DOT 5 fluid which is not hygroscopic. Check air pressures, lights, horn etc etc
For the oil? On the oil tank you will see tubes coming off the bottom of the tank, there is two one to the motor and one will drop almost straight down. follow the tube and you will see the plug. most times it will sit right behind the tranny on the rh side of the bike. don't worry about the motor holds little oil and the tranny is separate and holds its own oil. If you need more help please let me know M.Woodring
Excess motor oil that blew out the oil cap ,when you've parked for a long time the oil in the tank will drop down in the crankcase, then when you start the motor it will go back in the oil tank and then overflow the oil level...You must have to drain the oil tank again and refill it at the correct oil level....
no its not normal for it to hesitate try a good full tune up(spark plugs, plug wires, air filter, fuel filter, oil change, ect.) that most of the time fix any lag you might have
