Question about SanDisk Sansa e260 MP3 Player
Delete the songs that are "unknown" from your player. then go to all of your songs on the computer and right click, then click properties. hit the 'summary' tab and edit the song information there. then reload the songs. should fix it! i had the same problem.

Try delete everythinng on your device and that should work..
To delete songs from your device follow the steps below
You have to make sure that the device is on MSC mode...then make sure your device is plug in to the computer..Then go to programs - accesories - windows explorer, find the SanDisk in my computer, go to media, music and delete them from there.
Either under sync panel in your windows media player it will show your music when it's connected. just click the plus signs for what song you need to get rid of, right click and click delete.
To
format it..on your device..go under..menu, setting and there should be
a format option option there..let me know if that doenst work for you...
Hope this helps

Where are your songs coming from? Are they coming from a specific music service? What version of Windows Media Player are you using to transfer the songs?
