Need to set up mms for a LG KU830

To send pic msgs you need to have MMS activated on your phone. If it is activated then there is no way that you would not be able to send pic msgs. Please contact the helpline of your service provider and ask them to activate the MMS on your number. When they do it, they will send a msg to you with the settings. Only after you save this msg that the MMS would be available to you on your phone.

Yeah thats true before using the service you need to configure it manually or automatic, depends on the service provider, Some provider gives the option to download the MMS settings from Web Site, you just need to select the brand, model number and the phone number to send the settings.

For Example: If you need and settings for SONY mobile just go to the web site and follow the steps to download it.

If it comes to manually you need to call the customer care service provider to get the details like IP address, port or APN (if any).

Normally you'll need Vodafone to send you both the MMS and Internet connection settings. Then once received an save take your battery out of the handset without switching it off, remove your SIM for 10 seconds. Put it back together and send yourself a MMS and you should now be fully set up.

you need to ring your service provider and ask them to send you the MMS settings

This setting can be given only by your service provider..Call to customer care number and ask them internet and mms setting for your lg ke990....
