Reads 24 hr instead of am and pm

Not explicily, but on page 18 of the manual (Bose.com) clock setting is explained...

To set AM/PM (12 hour) or Military (24 hour) time - Press the On/Off button once to turn your Wave radio off.

Press and hold Clock Set, and then press On/Off to switch between AM/PM (12 HR) or military (24 HR) formats

Go through the menu and you will see options for time or clock. It is probably set on 24 hr clock and this is why it is 12 hours out. If you have a choice of 12 or 24 then choose 12. If you have to use 24 hr ensure that you reset the time as 1300 hrs for 1pm,1400 hrs for 2pm etx.It will be shown as "time format"

according to my manual there isn't an option for 12 hour settings only the 24. I know, it's pretty dumb!

Push the "mode" button twice to enter the time change function. Once the display is blinking keep pushing the mode button until you see the "pm" icon on the LCD display. When that happens set the clock as you normally would using the 1-4 keys.

Remember to check if the 12 hour clock is set to AM or PM.

press mode button 3 times untill you get into the time set mode - press lap/reset twice until the hours start to blink.

press start/stop and cycle thru all the modes depending what time you want to set - it will go thru 1, 2, 3, etc thru 24 H then 1, 2, 3, etc thru 12 A then 1, 2, 3, etc thru 12 P - depending on thte time you want to set the A is for AM and the P is for PM
