Hi there.
Your board is a socket 775, also called Socket T or LGA775, is a Land Grid Array (LGA) socket used for the most recent generations of desktop Intel microprocessors starting from Pentium 4 and up to Core 2 Quad / Core 2 Extreme families. The socket LGA775 supports Intel CPUs from 1.8 to 3.8 GHz with Front-Side Bus frequencies ranging from 533 MHz to 1600 MHz.
Its up to you which type of processor you get but now you have the general idea.

Good luck and thanks for using FixYa!!

Como saber si la placa p4m800-m7a soporta varios tipos de prosesador

transLated:
How to know if the p4m800-m7a board supports various types of processor, 2005 MOBO RELIC. XP ERA.

What types of processors are supported.

ask them only they know this,(OOPS THEY FORGOT)
they check it in there bios too so bios must be current to allow maximum CPU choices.
the maker does not support antique MOBO now.
this mobo was made in 8 versions !, which is yours?
this is VIA chip set relic, no OS supports that now modern.
P4 is the CPU and Old Pentium D
socket 775 only. CPU, M7A LAYOUT.
BIOSTAR ENDED SUPPORT, (ASK THEM YET?)(gone)

HERE IS THE MASTER LIST (MEANS PURE LOGIC)

click 775 then click Pentium D
this is the AMD chip logic list not what 2005 year bios allows, (lost now that)

https://www.cpu-upgrade.com/mb-VIA_(chipsets)/P4M800.html

buy one and try, but all the other chips too are obsolete and not supported in newer OS. (above XP 2001)

Sound driver

Your motherboard is a BIOSTAR right ?

Ok there are 2 versions I will post the drivers for those 2 versions.

P4M800-M7A v1.0
http://www.biostar-usa.com/app/en%2Dus/mb/driver.php?S_ID=92

These are the complete drivers, the sound driver is there too under onboard audio.

P4M800-M7A v7.0
http://www.biostar-usa.com/app/en%2Dus/mb/driver.php?S_ID=93

From what I can see they both use the same drivers.

I hope this helps.

The elitegroup website has a similar name but no A at the end
P4M800-M7
http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Downloads/ProductsDetail_Download.aspx?detailid=531&DetailName=Driver&DetailDesc=&CategoryID=1&MenuID=6&LanID=0

So from your model I would say it is a biostar, get it from the links above, if it is an elitegroup (ECS) get it from the last link.

Motherboard doesn´t work

You also have a manual for the Biostar? Find the serial No# printed on the Mb. Usaully found on a white sticker found on the serial port. With the serial No# in hand look up your board on Biostar's web site. Download the manual. You will find what CPU's your MB can take.
