Forgot password i forgot my password on my hp tablet tx2604ca i cant get pass the main page asking for the passowrd what do i do

Tablet PCs aren't my specialty, but as long as you are running Windows XP. it should work like any other version of Windows XP.
Start up in safe mode and log on as administrator. If your computer is like most others, whoever set it up forgot to password protect the administrator profile. If so, you can log on as admin and go to users and change your password.

There's a couple things you can do first try this:

1. This one works for some windows computers

Restart your computer and enter safe mode by pressing F8 repeatedly while the computer is starting. Once prompted hit safe mode on your screen. Once inside go to Control Panel > User Accounts > and change the password on your account or remove it.

2. This one is if all else fails

If #1 doesn't work you can use this company - www.loginrecovery.com
First download their software off the website and burn it onto a CD using Nero or another CD burning program. They have detailed instructions on the website as well as some free CD burning programs for download. Next Restart the PC and boot to the CD Drive. Next transcribe all the letters and numbers that appear on the screen to a piece of paper. Lastly enter the numbers and letters into the box on their website where you are prompted and they will tell you if the password is hackable. You can choose between free service which is 72 hours or expedited service which is $30 and 10 minutes. I've used them in the past and they work wonders for me!
