1955 Wurlitzer 2400 series jukebox was smoking then quit. There is no visible damage however the fuse blew. Is the transformer bad?

Disconnect the output side of the transformer, fit a new 2Amp slow blow or time delay fuse and plug it in.
If it blows the fuse again or smokes, the transformer is at fault and needs replacing.
If it is fine, fault find the rest of the electronics,
Fuses are available from most electronic hobby stores or outlets, the transformer will require rewinding at a specialist workshop.

Nakajima AX-150 UK to USA transformer

The Nakajima AX-150 Typewriter requires a step-down transformer to be used in the USA, as the UK operates on 240 volts AC and the USA operates on 120 volts AC.
To determine the size of the transformer needed, you will need to check the voltage and amperage rating on the typewriter's power supply or label. You can then use a transformer with a matching or slightly higher voltage rating and at least the same amperage rating to ensure it can handle the load of the typewriter.
It's always best to consult with a qualified electrician to ensure you are using the correct transformer for your specific situation and to ensure safety.

Does a ATX power transformer makes the difference of watts of a power supply unit of a computer? Exactly I am planning to improve performance of my pc's ATX power supply unit. Trying to attach another...

NO NO NO... PC power supplies are switching supply's. The transformers use high voltage to drive other components. Increasing the power out of the supply will require you to upgrade the power supply to a higher wattage output.

I have no leads only the xerox scanner what do i need to buy

Hello.

I am a Support Engineer with Xerox Scanners. When you say that you need the "leads" I assume that you mean calbes to connect the scanner to your computer. If that is the case, all you need a USB A/B cable and a compatible power supply.

If you no longer have your original power supply, or it is no longer functional, you may be able to find a comatible replace at your local electronics store. It needs to have an output specification of 12 Volts and support at least 1.25 amps.

Drivers for this model can be found here. Please be aware that this model is circa 2003, and drivers were not made for operating systems beyond Windows Vista. If you need help updating or reinstalling the drivers, have a look at this article.

Power lead required

You can use any 12-Volt DC power supply capable of sourcing at least 1A. This is probably the most common transformer voltage and most people have at least one lying unused around their home. If not, they are easy to find at thrift shops. Just read the label, which must indicate that the output is 12VDC, 1 Amp. Greater than 1 Amp is fine, less that 1 Amp will not do. The label should also indicate the polarity of the connectors, and this is shown with a drawing of a small circle within a larger one. On the type you want, the smaller circle indicates the center conductor of the connector, and will be associated with a "+" sign, and the outer circle a "-". The only other thing you need to check is that the connector is the right size. Here again, the one you need to fit the scanner is probably the most commonly used, and rather easy to recognize.
Here's a picture of a typical label. Note the output voltage and current rating is clearly indicated.

I have two ir security cameras. When it gets dark enough to require the ir to kick in, it does and then tries to go back to "day" (color) mode. It then recognizes that there is not enough light and the...

You don't mention if both cameras are malfunctioning. If so, yes it is a power problem. Each camera needs additional amperage when it switches from day to night mode. The power source is probably fine during daytime hours but can't supply the demand when the ir's kick in at night. If your power is being supplied by plug in transformers then purchase a new one with the same voltage rating (most are 24VAC) but a higher Volt/Amp rating (amperage or current). If one transformer supplies both units then purchase another identical transformer and power each camera separately. If using a power supply (transformer and power supply board) you are most likely running your cameras at 24VDC. Again, purchase another power supply with the same volltage but a larger continuous amp output. Hope this helps. Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

I lost the power supply to my EZ1600-S while moving house. I need to know the output voltage of the external power supply so that I can replace it

There should be some hint of power output on the transformer or power requirement on the device. Please give a look on the device. I understand you cannot look at the transformer, it is lost.

It appears the company that manufactured your device is out of business. If you cant find the power requirement, its time to replace your device.

The original power specs

As I search the internet I found out no replacement for this kind of the adaptor model number 090-02180-13, there are some people looking for this kind of adaptor is a faulty a pervasive problem with the TV. There are literally hundreds of complaints on the internet. Most deal with a faulty AC Adaptor and the inability of the company to provide a replacement part.
I have a solution for this adaptor problem we better improvised the parts inside. The faulty parts of this adaptor arise in the transformer. This transformer is easily to burnt because of lower amperage. So we make it higher amperage so it can resist the load heat and cannot burnt easily.
Maybe you can do this for yourself, open the adaptor case, when open already look for the transformer, the visual picture of transformer is a bulky metal with many windings. Take this out and bring it to electronic shop that know how to rewind a transformer. Tell them to reworks or rewind the transformer, only the output voltage will be change input is the same. This is the

NEW SPECIFICATION:
  • INPUT 100-240 V
  • OUTPUT + 24VOLT DC AT 12 AMP
  • 12VOLT AT 6 AMP.
This is the result of new specification when the reworks or rewind is finish ,put it back to the adapter box,and then you can use it.This is higher amperage I mean it to you before,it can resist overheating. If ever happens that you can't find in your place know how to do reworks of the transformer here in philippines i do the rewind or reworks of the transformer ,but the problem is.very far to your place it needs shipment to carry this out .I price you 120 dollars including shipment and i assure it to you that adaptor will last long because of higher amperage .
When i search i found a site that can make an ac adaptor only you give the new specification and give where you are using the adaptor give the brand name PLTV-32 and they will make it..try this option also ..LCDPAYLESS.COM
