I have a Fisher and Paykel Paprika Oven and the 4 stove top elements seem to go on high all the time. I cannot get them to turn down. This is happening to all 4 elements. What can I do? Thanks.

Sounds like the switches are bad.

Hi the hot plates have stopped working on my fisher and paykel oven

there is a seperae fuse for the elements if it is wired as a two phase which mean at your fuse box there is teo oven fuses one of them is blown or tripped

Upper oven takes forever to preheat

Deborah...all stoves have a row of fuses, usually under a strip cover. It sounds like one of the burner fuses have blown and needs replacing.If one is blown you would only have 110 volts on the element instead of 220 volts which would make the element only half as hot.

Fisher and Paykel Paprika Oven Top Elements Full hot!!

No controller. The switch for each element (called a simmerstat) is what controls the heat. It is a common fault and will be fixed if you instal new simmerstat for each faulty element.

check the ignitor and the oven thermost. the oven control board may be out.

Yes the regulators/simmerstats are stuffed but are not hard to replace...but please turn off the power 1st when removeing the backing plate as you will kill yourself....yes you will.
Use a multimeter set on volts ac or a volt detector stick, test tester on a known live sourse 1st like a power point....switched on
