Hello Monica, that is a wide area to cover ,so you can go to auto zone site and log in (its all free) go to (my vehicle)in put info then go to (repair guide) then to sub catagorys there are a few including trouble shooting. check pressure regulater and or vacuum supply to it as well, you should have a test port next to it or near, test it with a pressure gauge to see ,pressure should be 35+ pounds . i really hope this helps you ,if it does please let me know

remember the 3 components fuel, fire and oxygen, if the fuel is coming then its the fire because if there was spraying gas and there was nothing it got to be the fire.
If thats a TBI system..pull the duct work off and see if the injector is flowing a good stream of fuel while you turn it over..Ive seen fuel pumps run and fuel come from the line but not enough flow to make the injetor flow..
Rough idle and no power, it could be the mass air flow sensor, or even an intake leak (vacuum). Either one I would not put passed an engine of its age. I hope this helps point you in a helpful direction. Let me know how it goes and which motor you have as well.
Could be dirty fuel injectors or some water in your fuel. STP fuel injetor cleaner or HEET water remover on next full tank of gas should solve this. Use one or the other not both
They would need to be removed cleaned and bench tested.Considering the age of the vehicle id be suprised if it was an injector What are the symptoms your experiencing
