I pluged it to my computer...removed it safely but no cant use it...its showing a computer on its scrreen and i can do nythg....its just still..wats wrong

When you connect external devices, then you have to go through a process of disconnecting them. Otherwise, the device can get damaged.

1. Click on the 'Up Arrow' icon in your Windows System Tray.



2. Click on the Safely Remove icon.
3. The Safely Remove window will display any/all detected USB/FireWire devices connected to your Windows computer.
4. Click on the device (e.g., external drive) you wish to remove.
5. A confirmation window will appear.
6. It is now safe to disconnect your device.

The above instructions work for Windows 8 and Windows. However, the procedure is reasonably similar for other windows versions.

hi. when you look in the menu, go to main menu, select change preferences, (sometimes first show all in this menu) choose reset factory reset. when you do this all the personal user settings favorites, homeadres, recent destinations etc. i think thats wat you want. good luck

i am not an expert but i remember when my computer wasnt working and wouldnt install the recovery the dell people told me to put the computer into safe mode. try that.

if you dont know u hold down the power button untill the screen is blank. then when you turn on the power you will see 2 buttons or 3. one is start windows normaly, another is start windows in safe mode

1. Connect the USB cable to your computer.
2. Press and hold the button while plugging the other end of the USB cable into the YP-Z5.
3. When the display shows USB Connected, release the button.
4. The device is now in USB mode.
5. When through, you must safely remove the USB device. Note: To safely remove the USB device, right click the USB icon ( ) in the bottom right of your screen, and then click Safely Remove Hardware.
