SOURCE: I start the machine, it runs till it would appear

disconnect machine from mains electric supply. remove top cover of machine then check the back of the control panel for a small black pipe, it should be attached to a small nipple in the panel rear if it is not you will get the fault you describe. if the pipe is connected remove it and blow down pipe with your mouth or a foot pump to remove any blockage then reconnect it and try the machine again. check also that the pipe is not trapped or kinked too i hope this helps you

SOURCE: my machine unable to complete program its saying

To find your coin trap:Loot at the front of the machine, and at the bottom-left is the coin trap.Put towels in front of the machine to mop up any water (it's going to get wet).It opens anti-clockwise (remember righty-tightie, leftie-loosey), but you need to move the little bit of yellow plastic (12-oclock position) up first. The machine dose come with a little tool to do this, but you may have lost it. You can move the bit of plastic up by carefully using a flat screwdriver, and turning the round plastic with your other hand. Don't force anything. After you remove it, just swim over to your machine and remove the yellow thing in the middle by pulling it gently towards you. Clean out the coins/paperclips/buttons that you find in there.Push back on the yellow bit into the coin tray, tighten back on the cover the coin tray (the yellow thing at the top will 'click' back).Using a mop, take the opportunity to clean the kitchen floor now that it is all wet.

hi there.
If the washer won't drain there might be a clogged pump or hose. It's common for small socks or other small clothing items to get into the water drain system and clog the hose leading to the pump or the pump itself. Remove the hoses from the pump in order to remove the article of clothing.
If the washer won't drain the pump belt might have broken or might have worn out. Check the belt and replace if it shows signs of excessive wear.
Drain Pump
If the washer won't drain water the drain pump might be defective. It's also common for a small sock or other article of clothing to get caught in the drain pump or in the drain hose. Check both for an obstruction before replacing the pump.
Other Causes and Conditions
Clogged Pump or Hose
If the washer won't drain there might be a clogged pump or hose. It's common for small socks or other small clothing items to get into the water drain system and clog the hose leading to the pump or the pump itself. Remove the hoses from the pump in order to remove the article of clothing. Keep in mind that any water in the washer will pour out of the hoses when removed.
Drive Belt
If the washer won't drain, should check the drive belt. If the belt is broken or if it isn't tight on the pulleys the washer won't drain properly, if at all.
Lid Switch Assembly
If the washer won't drain the lid switch assembly might be defective. This is a very common problem. The lid switch assembly can fail either mechanically or electrically. Test any electrical switches with an Ohm meter for continuity. The switches should have continuity according to their design.
Door Lock Motor and Switch Assembly
If the washer won't drain the door lock assembly should be checked. The door lock can fail either mechanically or electrically. Test any switches on the door lock with an Ohm meter. The switches should have continuity according to their design.
Drain Hose
If the washer won't drain water check the drain hose. Be sure the hose did not get kinked behind the washer. Also, remove the hose from the pump and check it for obstructions.
Coin Trap
If the washer won't drain the coin trap may be clogged. This washer is equipped with a device near the water pump called a coin trap. The purpose of this device is to trap any foreign materials that make their way down the drain. Normally, the coin trap can be accessed through an access panel. It is designed with the homeowner in mind and is normally easy to clean out.

Asko W6021 would not fill with water

Our W6021 front has had a couple of instances where it would not start the fill cycle as usual. Normally it would be switched on,the relay would operate and the water would begin to enter the bowl. We tried a number of things including checking the hose and inlet filter for blockage. We then checked the outlet drain pump trap and found a coin and a drill bit lodged in the entry hole to the trap. Once the foreign objects were removed ,the machine operated as normal once again. I will be very careful in future to empty my pockets of metal things.

I have a candy CMI 146 ACTIVA SYSTEM washing machine it stops half way through a cycle. The water does not drain away and the door security light comes on and the door does not open.

  • You probably have a blockage in the drain outlet. heck the outlet trap and then the hose from the bowl to the pump
  • Often coins get in this hose.

Machine is making a loud clicking sound and will not spin out clothes

you need to check the main drain pump and all the hoses leading to the pump for any thing that will obstruction the flow or operation of the pump.Be sure to remove the drain hose that comes down from the tub to the drain pump and remove the plastic coin trap and clean it out.depending on how much close you do the coin trap should be clean about once every 6 months or sooner if you do alot of clothes.

Asko washing machine won't drain.

Further on to this F3 problem I had the issue on model W6461. There is a short cut to the fix, instead of taking off the grey pipe from the drain pump (the hose clips are pre crimped in the factory so as stated above are difficult to remove) try this.
Stages as follows:
1) Open drain pump door (bottom left of machine).
2) Remove black pipe and drain residual water.
3) Unscrew coin trap and remove, use a container to hold the water.
4) Leave the container underneath and make sure you have some towels ready (I didn't at the time)
5) Where the washing machine drain hose connects to the outlet or U bend connector remove this and expose the end.
6) Blow into the drain hose as hard as possible......hopefully the blockage will clear through back the coin trap.

Result:
A large lump of sludge, three of my 5 year olds small counter coins and about a litre of water.

Just ran the machine now and fault cleared.

Good luck

IS NO SPINING AND I HAVE ERROR 20

The problem is a clogged coin trap. The coin trap is located below the front loading door near the right front side. To gain access is the problem. It is in a bad location and this will take a couple of hours to fix at a minimum. Tools needed, a phillips screwdriver, short handled perfered. A large set of channel locks. A set of flush cutters. Purchase a couple of hose clamps to replace the cheap factory ones. Unplug the machine. Disconnect the hot and cold water lines. Remove all water from inside the washer. Turn the washer on its side. Looking at the bottom you will see a black rubber device, with a grey hose (the drain)running into it, a white device hung onto it, and the top of the corrigated black rubber device is attached to the bottom of the drum. Disconnect all connections. This is not fun. Remove the black unit. Look down inside the unit and you will see a clear cylinder (usually filled with coins and lint) In short the clog which is not allowing the machine to pump out its water. Clean the unit and keep the coins for your trouble. Reinstall the black unit.(coin trap). Make sure the green clamps are properly seated or better yet replace them with the hose clamps. If you are unsure about the sizes take the coin trap to the local car parts store and purchase a couple. Make sure the rubber parts are replaced flushly or the repair will leak and you will get to fix it again, after swimming in a bit of soapy water when you sit the unit up again. Reconnect the hoses and power plug. Run a short cycle and check for leaks, by removing the back of the machine and checking for water leaks. Good luck!!!

Not just your ordinary pintrap drain problem

check to see if there is a small coin in the grey drain hose that joins the pump also see if theres a coin stuck in the black sump hose to the pump.you will have to remove the front panel first.two screws underneath the front a one under the soap drawer.the paddles pull out put small screwdriver in the middle hole and pull hard toward you, they will come out also blow through drain hose to see if somthing stuck coins act like a valve and cause inttermittent draining problems, also check pump impeller isnt damaged it may look ok(white).hope this helps.
