Not sure of the QUESTION..? Do you want to print colour or black and
white..? Anyway, try this, bring up image , at top left click on Fix , at top
right click on Auto Adjust then go down to Adjust Colour click on and
hold Saturation Slider move to left to remove colour ,right to add colour
go to print and it should give you a black / white image. Remember to
return image back to original colour or image will return to file in b/w
hope this works for you..goodluck...T.C.

The Grayscale print option optimizes the look of color slides for printing on a black and white printer by adding shading. The Pure Black and White option prints your slides in monochrome.

  1. Open the presentation you want to print.
  2. Click on the word File in the Menu Bar.
  3. Select the option Print.
  4. The Print dialog will appear.
example:
sayurisan20_3.jpg 5.In the Color/Grayscale section, choose the Grayscale option to print in black, white, and shades of gray. 6.Choose the Pure Black and White option to print in black and white only. 7.Click on the OK button.

Getting light print on b&w, changing density makes zero change. Toner changed, no effect.

Check whether you are running as Black and White or Gray Scale. Many printers only print straight black by using all four toner cartridges- Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, black. If are running colored print in black and white and u choose grey scale it will automatically give you a screened image as a light print.

My colored cartidge is out and my black is full. I went in under maintenance and changed it to balck only and printer preferences and changed it to grey scale. it still wont print black only

Some printers simply will not work if one of the cartridges is empty, even if you are not printing with the cartridge. The other catch might be is that some printers create grey scale by mixing colors so you might want to turn off grey scale and try printing just black and white.

Sx515w Epson- Sounds silly but how do you print out pictures from your computer in black and white? i have tried everything and it doesnt work it still comes out in colour even though its my daughters...

It will be your printer settings, although different, yours should be similar:-

Start - Printers and faxes - RMB default printer and select properties - Advanced - Defaults - Main - Check the Grey Scale box.

You may want to upgrade the print quality aswell if printing a photo.

Why my color catdrige is empty faster than black

just change your settings to print in only black and white and it will print just fine. there should be a button on the top of your printer that says print black and white or grey scale , its a common problem .,if you see next time it should work good .(its actually making the black color using the colored catridge by mixing the three colors in diffent ratio.)

My machine has ceased to print in color, only black and white, and i can't find anything on the menu that allows me to switch back to color. the cartridges are relatively new.

You do that via the Properties menu, go to printers Icon right click Icon and select "Properties" then look through to find, Color, Black & White & Grey Scale.

Can I print in just black and white?

yes - in control panel - printer - properties set default as grey or grey scale or Add Printer and set the 'new' printer up as grey scale and call it 'printer B&W' so you can choose either a colour printer or a B&W printer.

Dell 3110cn won't print color. It shows in color on the print preview window, but comes out black & white

There's a setting in the driver that makes it print black (OK - grey scale) only.

Try that.

How do you chose to print black & white on a Cannon Pixma iP 1600?

You will have to get into the printer properties box when giving the print command, and select "Print in Grey Scale"
To get to Print properties, click on File > Print > In the box that pops up, select Properties. Now you should have an entry that says "Print in Gray Scale" or something like that. Select this and click OK.
