My LG AKB73375501 has stopped interfacing with my Blu Ray player but interfaces with my TV. I can only control my Blu Ray player via my TV remote. The Blu Ray remote used to work but, for some reason unknown to me suddenly stopped. I have tried the suggestion of removing the batteries and depressing the power button but this does not work in this case. The battery connections are fine. The batteries are fine as it still works to switch on my TV or change the AV input but will not control the Blu Ray player - please help. Thank you.
With lg this is normal and there is nothing you can do beside to take the set in for a exchange or repair service- I have an lg device or two that has the same issue, it is the players not the remotes. if i find a solution i will update you good luck questions just ask

Take out the batteries, then hold the power button for forty seconds, then put the batteries back in. Just spoke with LG customer service, and that's what they recommended. Works!

This remote comes with the LG tv's so it should work without a problem on them - it comes preprogrammed for them. If the remote no longer reacts then it's defective.
All you can do is to take out the batteries, press the power button for 10 seconds to fully reset it then reinsert the batteries, press the tv button and try again. if it fails even after that then take it back to the ones that sold it to you. If it came with a tv then contact a dealer - the remote can't be repaired, it will have to be replaced for free since it's still in the warranty period.
