Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. One among it has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It will help you to find the document easily. http://remotesearch.blogspot.com/ http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ http://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/
In the U. S., we would see "No signal" if there is a problem with picking up the TV station. "No sync" may be equivalent; the tuner may be detecting a signal, but it isn't strong enough for the TV to pick up the synchronization pulses needed to decode the picture information.
You can check this by connecting a known-good video game set, DVR or DVD player to the TV and verifying that the TV properly shows that.
Worst case: you're only using HDMI inputs, and the HDMI circuit was blown out by static electricity during the take-down or reconnection processes. That's been a problem with some cheap HDMI external switches. Before assuming this, try a different HDMI cable; there are some low-quality types with fragile connections at the end.
What brand TV is this? Sounds like the power board may be out. You could check for power at the power board with a Multimeter. You need to have power run to the TV but TV not powered on. Board usually has a led green or red light to indicate power to the board. Sometimes this light can be seen without taking the cover off, sometimes you may have to remove cover to see power board and definitely to test with multimeter. Hope this helps. J
