MY current Takagi-RE01 limits me to a MAX of 167-degrees - which only heats the water to 155 at the baseboard registers. On really cold winter days in Boston area, I could really use the boost in output temperature to the system's maximum of 188-degrees (which the Takagi-RE01 remote control will not accommodate). 188 seems like a safe limit since it's well below the boiling point. I'm running a closed loop hydronic system for heating only in an old part of the house that is used only once or twice a week. The system is 50% glycol based; pressure is 15 lbs max; with a Taco 009 pump driving 180 feet of registers through 3/4 copper pipe with 30 right-angle elbow connectors. The system has run well for 4 years but I would like to run the Takagi at 188-degrees, at least on days when it's zero or below outside. Thanks for any advice.
