Dear Sir,

For getting display in TV you have to select input source as TV generally in all other laptop
short cut key is fn+f4. generally short cut function key shows picture of small square box.Search for that short key then activate the out put for TV by pressing that key with Fn keys.

I think it solves your problem.

There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). How do I reset my tv to factory settings. samsung 32 inch LA32R81WDx/xSA
On a different Samsung TV, there is a Picture Reset in the Picture Menu on the OSD. (It's at the bottom of the list.) Similarly the sound reset is in the Sound menu. There is no global reset. (If your Samsung TV's OSD menus are different try under the Support menu.)
