Purchase your UHF/VHF antenna. The antenna can also be purchased at most electronic and retail stores. Consult your list from Step 1 and see how powerfulNeed to know how to change and setup for use of an - icon1.png the over-the-air signals are for your specific address. Purchase your antenna based on the broadcasting power you need to receive a clear picture on your TV. You might be able to get away with an indoor antenna if your signal strength is strong enough. If not, you'll need to purchase an outdoor antenna.

  • 4 Install your antenna (or have it done professionally) according to the building codes of your area. If you must use an outdoor antenna, it is a to have the antenna professionally installed. This ensures that it is properly grounded on your roof, not too close to electrical wiring and stable during inclement weather.
  • 5 Hook the converter box up to your television using the cable that came with it (F Cable). Hook your antenna up to the converter Box. Turn on your TV and converter box. Tune your TV to channel 3 and press "Scan" on the digital convert box. Allow the box to scan for your available channels.
  • 6 View your picture and adjust your antenna accordingly for the clearest over-the-air feed. You should only need to make adjustments once. If you are having a difficult time getting a clear picture, use a signal strength indicator to see where you receive the most powerful signal.

My cable wont show on the tv in i do not know how to hook it back up

If you've got the wire screwed on to the connection labelled Antenna you'll need to use the remote for the next step. From the TV remote hit the MENU or SETTINGS button. Look for an option on the screen called setup or signal. Memorizing the channels would be the next step. You may need to change an option here from Antenna to Cable in the setup screen, then let the TV run through all the channels to memorize them.

How to change channel from one to any one channel in sony bravia

I need more info. Are you using antenna connected to RF input or are you using cable box, sat box or ATT Uverse? If connected to antenna . go in menu or Home on Sony. Press setup and look for channel scan. Set to antenna and do auto scan. If cable or other provider box set tv to ch 3 or what ever provider says. You are then using the tuner in that box. You will use providers remote to change channels. Be sure in setup that tv is set to cable if cable box is used. Hope this helps but the info you posted could be more descriptive.

    Shows "no signal" on my

when you say jack in antenna, I assume you mean you have an outide antenna. If you have never recived over the air signals before you won't now. If you have cable tv, then go into setup and set your scan channels to CATV and not Outside antenna, or what ever it might be called on your set. i need more infomation before I can give you more advice

I can't seem to get any digital channels

Before scanning for channel, check to see if the Antenna input is set to Cable or Antenna. If you have rabbit ears or and outside antenna then set it to antenna. If you have cable then set it to cable. Then rescan for channels. If this has already been set then the next step is to check the antenna or cable feed. If possible plug the antenna or cable feed into another TV that is known to be working correctly. If it is capable of receiving digital channels then the problem is likely the Samsungs ATSC tuner and will require service.
If neither TV is getting Digital channels then I will need more info on your antenna setup and where you are located. I am a pro on TV antennas and reception.
    Hope this helps

    Can't change tv from cabl

Not knowing what brand or model you have, I would guess that you have a setting somewhere in the setup menu for that. If it is an older set it may have a switch on the back near the antenna/cable connector. Thanks for using fixya.

I want to know if my Zeineth TV #B32A24Z is analog or digital

This is a Analog set. If you use an Indoor antenna or Outside antenna you will need a converter box. If you are on cable you won't need a box.

    Off air antenna hook up

You probably have to set the tv to run on the input jacks your antenna is plugged in to. In other words these newer tv's have 2 or 3 inputs and they only run on the input it is set on, if not the right one you must change the setting. On mine there is a button next to the on/off button on the set which is inputs, keep pressing that button and it cycles through inputs till you get the right one. When tv first comes on it flashes the name of the current input on the screen--think they all do that. If input is hdmi, it refers to the hdmi socket, if composit (I think) then it refers to the rca jacks that are red, white, yellow, may be more than one of either. In this way you could have cable on one input, a video player on another, and cable on still another by switching desired input. I use a UHF antenna but it didn't work till I got the right input and then searched for stations studying the menu for station setup, have to set up the stations first, it will configure settings for each station, and have it do that before you can expect to find and receive stations. With correct input you should get a blue screen or something with printing if input is right, click your menu button and will see the menu and then find where to configure stations setup, otherwise it is totally black and nothing happens, nothing responds, that's the wrong input.
