I need system files for my iRiver H10 20GB MP3 player

plz tell me how i can restore iriver h10 4gb i can on my mp3 plyer then i read screen he tell me system files missing u can restore but how i can restore plz tell me?

OK, one day i turned on mu iriver and it's say's "system file missing to restore the system files connect to H10 to iriver and i dont know how to connect it.The other proplem when playing the music it's like a scratch CD i dont know how to fix it.

You must be connected to the internet for this to work: 1.Download the MTP Firm Updater Utility from iriver website - iriverinc.com/support (Audio Jukebox --> H10) 2. Unzip file, run .exe file, go thorugh wizard (if you are not in mass storage mode, it will give you instructions on the wizard on how to change this) 3. Select Recovery 4. Finish going through wizard 5. disconnect iRiver from computer, and wait for it to update - your player should be good.
If the problem happens again, then uninstall Windows Media Player 11 from your computer and rollback to Windows Media Player 10 (you will NOT lose any songs by doing so).

Go to the iRiver website, and see about getting a firmware upgrade. Most mp3 player companies can not restore the player's software using a firmware upgrade or reload, but some of them can. Once the system files are missing/deleted, if the firmware upgrade/reload does not resolve the problem, then the player is history. Hopefully, iRiver's upgrade will resolve that issue. Good luck!

please, my new iriver h10 is not open. it will say "System files missing"

What you need to do is set it on "Disk Mode" and check the firmware. Most problems like this occur due to missing or added files on to your firmware files. This corrupts the entire system, causing it to have strange malfunctions like yours.

Try doing a format via windows explorer. Right click on the drive and then format as fat32. Then unplug and open iriver plus. Reconnect. See if that works. Good luck!
