My laptop sound does not work

Replace the AC Adapter, (ebay from £10.00).
Did it come with XP on it? Mine came with Vista and there are conflicts with XP and graphic adapters. There is no XP driver for the ATI adapter in mine.
Go online to Toshiba and download all of the updated drivers that you require. A user friendly system.

You can download a driver from acclaim.toshiba.com

Choose the "download" button.

It will allow you to choose your model and the OS you want driver for.

try going directly to the website of the maker of your camera. If that doesn't work you can usually find any driver you need at www.driversguide.com it is free to join

You can get a free program from Microsoft (download from their website) that when ran on your computer will tell you if it can run Vista. see: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-vista/get/upgrade-advisor.aspx

uninstall windos vista. install windos xp professional sp2 using installation cd

try to start in safe mode by pressing f8 during boot-up, then choose the administrator account and let windows load in safe mode. if you're able to load up to your desktop, restart your pc and log-in as you would normally do.
