I have the ming a1200 had it for 1 year and ahalf... never had a problem and now all of a sudden i cannot receive calls i can make calls and receive texts but my phone won't ring? i am with fido (rogers wireless) . when i switch my chip to a regular fido phone it works ...i have not changed any settings just happened... any idea whats going on.
I have been facing the same problem on motorola rokr e6, exactly the same problem
i guess fido changed something in there chips frequency, i wil be made crazy if that happened
hey i found out the solution call fido and ask them to remove the name display offer, fido is offering name display free for a month, but our phones is not combatiable with that Note that name display is different then caller ID have a good dayhey

Yes, He is right; it happens to Rogers customers as well; Rogers and Fido are lunching one month free pomotion for name display. But software on this model phone can't work with name display

hi, it seems u r facing some trouble while receiving calls,. well, there's no such optional setting which would turn the flip speaker on/off,.. hence its clear that the prob is with the flip, my best advice is to give it for an authorized Motorola service center (as your phone comes under the warranty period i guess), and wait for the best to happen,..
