I need to find out what model my bow is. serial # 2307711

look inside the limb pockets or under the grip. most of my hoyt recurves were stamped under the riser grip. You'll find a set of #'s @ the base of the limbs but that's batch ID , draw weight , leanth. for just the bow limbs not the riser, ( talking recurve here) with a compound you'll prob. only find one set of #'s.
you will need a bow press to break down a compound.

good luck & good shooting

What is 'stacking'?

This isthe amount of increase in weight as the bow is drawn. It occurs in all bows, but can be intensified in three ways. First, the bow may be too short for thedraw length. A longer bow could help this problem. Second, the ratio offiberglass weight or thickness should also be increased. Third, the moreradical the limb design the more the stack will increase. This means that at agiven limb length the bow weight, a more pronounced recurve design, will stackmore at full draw. The use of multiple tapers in a limb can also causestacking.

Bear polar recurve brace height

String length is 60 inches. The brace should be 7.5 to 8 inches. Listen for noise and feel for hand shock. Twist the string to add brace. Shoot for the sweet spot. When the bow becomes quiet and the vibration and hand shock is minimal, you have found the sweet spot. Measure your brace height at this point and write it down.
