I have a top loading Kenmore series 80 washer having spin problems. Sometimes it will start iteself, sometimes if I give it some clockwise rotation it will continue. Spin cycle still doesn't dry out c

387780 does not seem to be a valid model number.

How do I check and replace the water level sensor on my Kenmore 80 Series Hvy Dty Washer?

Try eserviceinfo.com/index as per your 80 series. There are various downloads there that may help access the water level sensor which is most likely the problem.

Kenmore series 80 washer won't drain after wash cycle

Try the 'drain' portion of a few of the other cycles (heavy, perm. press, delicates) and see if it will drain/spin there. You can also try advancing the timer slowly through the 'spin' portion to see if it kicks in anywhere.

If it will rinse and spin in the other cycles, you most likely have a bad timer.

Washer won't drain or spin

you need to check the water pump... it may be clogged with detergent or something to that effect.. or just replace the pump itself..

BAD LID SWITCH,YOU CAN REPLACE IT OR BY PASS IT,REMOVE THE 2 CONSOLE HEAD SCREWS ONE ON EACH SIDE,FLIP THE TOP UP,YOU WILL SEE THE LID SWITCH JACK,YOU CAN CUT THE 2 OUTSIDE WIRES AND PUT THEM TOGETHER WITH A WIRE NUT AND PLUG BACK IN,YOU HAVE NOW BY PASSED THE LID SWITCH AND YOUR GOOD TO GO-MIKE

Problem solved. Went to lid switch and found housing was broke. Glued it, completed my wash. Picked up a new one. Thanks for the help
