Log Off I logged off by mistake. Now it reads: Ext= *=OK New= I'm not sure what I need to do to get the phone back up.

Scan setup. create a folder on c drive of computer example called scan. then share folder with everyone and make sure it has read/write permission. Then on copier push button says user tools/counter then system setting/administrator tools/ address book management /new program / enter a name then go to folder smb then browse for computer select it. then will ask to log in. which is log in name and password that you use to log on computer with. Note user name needs to be letter or numbers only no symbols or spaces. Example user name: scanner password: scanner123 then select scan folder and press ok then press ok again to save setup.

I'd suggest just to reset your password and try again.

You have to log in to the phone system as administrator and go to the users tab. You can change it to an unused ext. at that point.

When the display shows LOG: it means that theres no mailbox attached to the extension. When logging in as 120000 theres the possibility of changing the administrator password.To build a mialbox for ext. 25

If you can not log into the programing tool to change it that way then you will still need the Installer password. However from the main ext typically the first ext or 101

On page 158 and 168 you can set up the features of the phone.
In order to do that, you'll go back to the phone that works, and press PROG and each button and write down what it says.
It will say things like EXT-102, LOG IN-100, VTR-165, etc.
If the buttons are labeled, note what it says, then move over to the phone you want to program. Press PROG, the button, then dial the codes from pages 168 forward for each function. It's not that difficult, for example, a DSS for ext 101 would be 1101 STORE, call log is 30100 STORE (or similar).

Each button changes when you press STORE and the feature will move if it has already been stored in another location. HOLD PROG backs you out of programming.

Download from Nokia Ovi Store the tiny tool "Delete Single Log", this is what you want. It can delete individual call log / sms log entry.

Turn off the machine. Hold down the lower right key on keyboard. Turn key to P. Turn on machine. That should clear it out. It will also log you off you will need to log back in. Make sure you correct your mistake

Silly. Plain silly. The question is how many other things does he have installed on the phone? Any themes, excess profiles, large numbers of pictures, several third party applications... This will all contribute to system resources being depleted. If he has a factory default set up with less than 100 photos and zero video or music -- he is probably selling you a dream. If however the opposite is true, the phone may be dumping his call log. Mine DOES infact to do that when my memory is getting low since loading a couple of videos and a Bob Marley theme. I hate it. I am trying to retreive a call that I lost because of that exact thing. Think of it as being a kin to a Blue Screen of Death on a PC.
