Memory card reader for digital ixus v2 model canon camera where available and what price?

ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS TO COMPUTER
If your photos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.

I have a Conon Powershot S1 IS camera and bought a Transcend Compact Flash 4GB memory card and when I insert in into the camera a red light flashes at the menu and set buttons?

Have your new memory card inserted into your PC to test for any virus. Format the memory car.
Please check if your cannon is adaptive to the 4GB (check the instruction manual) if the card shows the same fault now after inserting.
Use another card into the camera to confirm if the card slot is faulty.

I'm trying to download photos from my memory stick to my laptop. I have misplaced the manuel. My camera is a Kodak EasyShare M109831S. Can you walk me through the process?

Log on this website, it"s an online Kodak manual http://www.kodak.com/global/en/service/publications/urg00915toc.jhtml?pq-path=13231

1. If the laptop is equipped with a PCMCIA card slot, insert the card adapter into the card slot on the side of the laptop. Then simply access the pictures from the associated drive letter in My Computer.
2. If the laptop is not equipped with a PCMCIA card slot, other accessories are available. You can use a USB card reader. The required card inserts into the card reader, and you can access the pictures from the associated drive letter in My Computer c46b3b2.jpg

Card error

Your camera was designed (2004) and manufactured (mostly 2005) before current generation SDHC cards became available. It will therefore be incompatible at the basic hardware level. There were some non-standard SDHC cards around in 2006 but your camera was never designed for those either.

Stick to regular SD cards, in theory your camera can handle 4GB maximum but the design team wouldn't have been able to certify compliance with that size of card as they also weren't available at the time. To be safe, stick regular SD cards with a 2GB maximum capacity.

Sorry there's no way for you to use your SDHC with your present camera but at least I hop that I've prevented you from wasting time and money on buying another incorrect memory card.

Please return the favour by taking a moment to rate my answer.

Polaroid i737 usb cord

I was in need of a new USB cord for my Polaroid i737 as well. This was a problem for me because thee SD card I use with my i737 is a HC card and can only be read by/through my camera. Thankfully, I managed to find one on E-bay and purchased it.

However, if you are using a non-HC SD card for your camera, I would suggest just using an SD card reader to transfer your photos from your card to your computer.

then open My computer, there u will find written removable drive beside the cd drive or so. open it and u will find ur photos. then single right click on any of the photo, a pop-up menu will appear, select to 'copy' option and then open the drive where u want to paste ur photo, and there again single right click and select 'paste'. and guess what ??? it's done!
