INSTALLATION I had lost my installtion CD for M1005HP Laser jet

If you specified installtion CD is lost and whatever system utility you wants to install can be downloaded from the support section of your machine`s manufaturer`s website.

1. Un packing,removing the seals, cartridge set up, print heads setup, cabling set up, power conditions, power grounding etc ..comes under hard ware set up.
2. Loading the software drivers, configure the IP, sharing, scan setup, fax set up though PC etc comes under software set up..
Depend up on models & functions, technology(Dot matrix,Ink jet,laser jet)the installtion procedure will varies.

the local or network option happens when you install it, install as a local first, then select it as a network option, assuming you have xp.

Did you try www.epson.com?

go on to your manufacterers web site all software is available there.
