When you install a larger SD card it will be a fresh empty memory card. Your existing 8Gb SD card will still have the the 5 hour gig data on it.
You can insert the 8Gb SD memory card into an USB memory card reader and plug this into the USB port on your computer. The computer will see this SD memory card and adapter as an external storage device. You can then open the audio folder on theis SD memory card and copy this file to your computer.

When I try to burn recorded track, shows a message CD full when I check remaiing spcace, it shows full available

i think the maximum capacity of a CD is between 750MB to 850MB . since the error message is CD full better check the amount / volume of data to be transferred to your CD .

DMC-zs10 records on internal memory - not on SD card

Hello bro..
Do you check your SD card? It is work ?
My solution:
1. Off Lumix camera.Until LCD was off. Press center of card to remove it.
2. Use card reader to connect your SD card to pc/netbook/laptop..
3. Check full capacity for SD card, it is empty(zero) or have it their mount.
4. If empty (full, used, free is zero) ,try reinsert card again and don' t touch the terminal.
5. If still empty, that mean, your SD card was corrupted.
6. If not empty, backup all data in SD card.
7. Format the SD card using FAT32.
8. Checking Disk.
9.Insert back to camera, and format SD card using camera menu.
10. Take picture. and see if save on SD card or not. comment back here. if succes or not.
11. Don't use any battery except original from panasonic. It will affected to product.
12. Don't remove battery or card before lcd was off light.

Panasonic PVGS-50D SD memory card

Check your manual for the max supported SD card size. Most likely it will either support a minimum of 2-4 gb :)

So yes you can get larger cards for your PV GS 50D

"Card Full" error when the card is in fact empty...

I had the same issue, and ended up solving it after trying many different things. So first you put the card in your reader, right click, and hit "format...". It should ask you if it's ok to erase everything. Say yes.

Then put the card in the recorder, and it should say "Unformatted". Hit Utility and TR4 to Initialize. That should do the trick. Hope that helps!

Zoom H4 Recorder Says, "Card Full!" But it is NOT!

I encounter this error with my 16 gb SD card and Zoom H4n.
I try to format the card inside and outside fo the Zoom, use 8 gb and 32 gb instead of 16gb card and, but get the same error.

But I find a solution.

1. I format my SD card inside Zoom with builtin utility. (Menu - SD Card - Format)
2. I reinstall Zoom firmware
(instruction and download here: http://www.zoom.co.jp/products/h4n/software/ )
3. I format SD card inside Zoom again.

I took a several test and didn't get a "Card Full" error.

Memory

Ok, here's the deal...

The '9 hours' of recording time is a bench mark only... The unit only comes with 64 MB of internal memory, and when you are recording in the highest resolution, (Mpeg4) mode, then it eats up the available space really fast. Keep in mind, that in high resolution video mode, as opposed to standard, you will eat up at least 64 in about 7 minutes, not 5.

I dropped a 512 MB SD card in the camcorder, and on high resolution video, you might get away with 45 minutes to and hour. The camcorder records in 640 by 480 resolution, which isn't bad, but certainly isn't in DVD quality either...

So, pick youself up a 2 GB SD card, and you will certainly get up to at least 5 hours in standard mode. Rule of thumb, 400 MB per hour in standard mode. But, if you also go into the camera mode and take high resolution photos, that will also eat up your available storage ability...

Any other questions, just let me know...
