Car system was working fine and now the sub woofers do not have any sound coming out of them. I have replaced the subs, wires, terminals, and fuse, what else am i missing or is it something else?

The sub should generally have its own power supply, is it plugged in ???

if you have your front and centers set to 'small' you want your Bass out to be subwoofer only, and the rca jack labeled 'sub out' is the only place to connect your sub to if you want to control the frequencies with your reciever. I dont know the brand of your sub, or the inputs on the back of it to advise you where to connect, but it sounds like it worked for you at one time, but suddenly it does not

Alright i had a chance to look over things, this is how you are going to hook up the sub. first we'll be connecting the surround sound unit to the sub woofer.
surround sound unit sub woofer
left front: positive (+) <-----to------------->(+) left speaker level in
negative ( - )<- - -to- - - - - - ->( - ) left speaker level in

right front: positive (+) <-----to------------->(+) right speaker level in
negative ( - )<- - -to- - - - - - >( - ) right speaker level in

now that the surround sound unit is connected to the sub woofer you will need to connect the front surround sound speakers to the sub woofer.

left speaker level out( - ) <- - - to- - - - ->( - ) left front speaker

right speaker level out (+)<-----to--------> (+) right front speaker

Alright now that the wires are all over the place and plugged in

You can resolder the DC output connector jack on the sub woolfer or replace the cable that plugs into the sub woofer DC output jack.

You need to use an amplified sub. The Yamaha receiver is only sending "Pre-Amp Signal" not amplified audio like the rest of your speakers. If your sub has a crossover built in, connect it's speaker level (wires) to the "B" side of the receiver which will send audio to your sub and it will cross it over internally. Not the best sounding, but it works. Amplified subs range in price from 200 and up. Hope this helps

check your amp fuse also any car fuses, then check inside the sub box at the connections as they dont come connected when you buy it, try that 1st

I would double-check your RCA's on the amplifier. You should hear a thud if you unplug them. If not they are either not hooked up or defective.

First check the speaker wire from the amp to the sub, see if it's connected right. Second check the rca cables that goes from your amp to the back of the deck. I f both wires are still connected fine try to replace the rca cables. If it still doesn't work the rear out put at the back of your deck, where the rca's are connected are bad. FYI deck is bad.

Either the amp for the sub is bad, or the sub woofer speaker is bad. If you checked the fuses, you must know how to get the amp out of the sub woofer box (screws in the bottom of box and around the metal plate of the box). Take it out again and check the wires that go to the sub woofer. It is the red and white wires if I remember correctly. They come from the box and plug into the amp board with a white plastic connector. Or you can check the wires right at the speaker. The cover for the speaker comes off with about 4 phillips screws and then take the speaker out with the screw driver as well.Use an ohm meter and check the ohms on the speaker at those wires after you dis-connect them from the board. That woofer should measure between 3 and 6 ohms to still be good. If it measures less than 3 ohms or more than 6 ohms, it is probably bad and will need to be replaced.

Or you could just find one that fits properly and use it instead. They are not the best woofer around and are very over-priced.

You need to take apart tthe sub woofer and check the connection to bass speaker for continuity. It sounds like an internal broken connection to speaker on sub woofer unit.
