Receiver. Try a hard reboot. Unplug the power, wait a minute, plug it back in. If that doesn't work it may need to be 'reauthorized" by the company.

Will it work with analogue TV using scart and without old free view box

Depends what is on the satellite receiver. If there is a SCART connection, you can put it in your TV. As soon as the satellite receiver only has a HDMI, you can't connect them.
Be aware, that even digital receivers for analog TV receivers, with both, SCART and HDMI often not forward digital signals, because of copyright restrictions. Not even not copyrighted content.

I think there is a problem with your unit. From what I read about it, its a digital compass and it should work wherever you are. I have the link for Bushnells web site for you. Either click the link or copy and paste it into your web browser. Here is the link:

http://www.bushnell.com/products/gps/backtrackpoint3/360100/?shadowbox=content:/media/bushnell_backtrack_general_v03.flv;width:720;height:480;title:BackTrack%20GPS%20Video;

Click off the video when it comes on there is an x to the bottom right hand corner to turn it off. Once your on the webpage look to the column on the left I suggest you contact them especially if its still under warranty by them in order to get it repaired.

I hope this helps you out, if it does please leave me a YES on the web page you received my response on. Thank you

Digital dash does not work properly, gauge just flash and speedometer goes up to 20mph.

The digital speedometer went out in my 88 continental as well.. I had to go to a junk yard to find a whole other cluster.. 1 year later, it doesn't work again. (-_-) I could afford to put a new speedometer in, its just hard as hell to find one for the 88.
