I have a very old HP LC3 netserver. It was in my office, and I have moved it to my home. I would like it to communicate with my printer in order to print out documents. Can it be connected directly to my wireless router and the transfer documents wirelessly to my printer?

Add the printer to the wireless router as another node via DHCP. Then add the printer by the IP address. Your server does not have wireless so it will need to be connected to the router via network cable.

Or, you attach the printer directly to the server via parallel port (RS-232) cable. Or upgrade the server with an USB port, and connect it that way. gl

SOURCE: Used HP Netservers

Of course they're still useful to someone. Sounds like i'd start with craigslist or ebay. Some of the servers will be heavy, so be sure to list that shipping from wherever you are to them is paid by the bidder. If you can, maybe you should try testing out the equipment to see if any of it works.

For example, Just the first entry sells new for 350, and used for about 175. You'll easily pick up 70-130 on ebay for these. In fact, I could use some of that equipment :-)

Print color photos with windows 10 and HP printer

First and foremost, use the most current HP drivers for that model of printer. The two choices you have are printing in color directly via the printer itself. Naturally you can print from the class or inserted USB/Card reader slot. OR you can print from the Computer's devices matched to the printer. To get proper results: Down load the current updated HP drivers for your computer to communicate with the printer. Use the HP software to select either color or b/w. Also make certain the HP Printer FIRMWARE is up-to-date. If all of the software is current, you should only need the HP programs to select your choices and no other apps are necessary.

No video on boot up.

Use the other PCI slots. When using 3rd party Video cards, contact the video card vendor to ensure that they do not use "write combining" or "locked" cycles to video memory in their drivers. HP NetServer

NetServer LPr P3-750 won't boot

Well, what kind of memory are you trying to use? I did some research on the product itself and found out that it requires 100MHz registered ECC SDRAM! If you put in a different speed memory or non-ECC it more than likely won't work! If that's not the situation then get back to me! Regards, Babb
