My yahoo messenger is not responding - Yahoo Messenger

Turn off your messenger and go to the yahoo messenger page.Down load the newest version or patch.Install and you should be all good.

Have you tried uninstalling then reinstalling it? try that first, lets see what will happen.

Uninstall you yahoo messenger using a uninstaller program like revo uninstaller. Then try to install a fresh yahoo messenger into your computer. Try also to clean, optimize and repair your registry using ccleaner

yahoo has been haveing so much travel to salve this and many others problems you need to update yahoo

Try reinstalling Yahoo! Messenger. The messenger can be downloaded at http://messenger.yahoo.com.

Steps required for Windows XP:
1. Click on Start, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs
2. Find all Yahoo! products and remove them.
3. Select the link above and Save As... to the Desktop.
4. From the desktop, install the new Yahoo! Messenger.
5. Try Yahoo Messenger.


Steps required for Windows Vista/7:
1. Click the Start Orb, Control Panel, Programs and Features.
2. Find all Yahoo! products and uninstall them.

If any body boting DC for sign out using Yahoo DC software your messenger will get stacked and it will close automatically....again if there is any error in messenger registry it will happen...to solve this unwise/uninstall yahoo messenger and again download/install latest version of yahoo messenger....hope it will help you to solve out....
