My RFA60 fridge freezer had a red light on the freezer for a few days but a green light on the fridge. My freezer has defrosted and the red light is still on but the green light is still on the fridge but it isnt cold inside. any ideas please

Upright freezer orange and red light on but green light off can you advise? Frigidaire freezer.

Draw fan has failed, temp unreachable over the past cycle of 24hrs, turn your unit off for 24hrs and defrost it, restart and should work fine for a few days, if so, replace fan and defrost element only. Call service tech for this unless you are clued in on this work, not that costly.

My Hotpoint RFA60 is displaying it's High Freezer Temp light. The freezer has become less efficient. How can I fix this

if the unit has iced up then the efficiency will drop considerably.do a 24hour total defrost and dry thoroughly.DO NOT use hairdryers/scrappers as they only deice the surface ice.....if that dont work get back, as its free.....

is this a manual type unit or just a chest type freezer if just a freezer as soon as it reaches a temp of 08 the alarm should stop

Freezer works, fridge doesn't cool

Probably excessive ice in the condensor. Likely defrost thermostat or defrost heater problem.

What happens is excessive ice keeps airflow from the refrigerator part of the unit.

If you are hearing a clicking or buzzing then check out the last two tips.

If your refrigerator is running but warm, then...
