How to install freedom 10 inverter/battery charger

same happened to me on fleetwoo rv. the switch on the control panel was bad. put a new remote switch on works fine. hope i helped. if the remote switch port on the inverter has no wire going to it the remote might fix it.bypass the main circuit board. buxtonman`~`

The fan can be replaced. It is very similar to some of the PC cooling fans. I've got the same problem (again) and will be replacing it soon. I will give you the fan specs once I remove my fan ( I think it is 4" 120VAC - will let you know when I repair mine).

OK my 2000 Discovery does the same thing. Try and hit the inverter charger with your fist 3-4 times, then listen and see if the charger fan starts up. I will be bringing my inverter to Portland this week to have the tech look at it. The other thing is it could be the transfer switch. Will let you know.
