Question about Lucent Lands Phones

Time & Date Display

I have a company desk phone that is the Lucent 8410D and I am trying to get the date and time to show up on the display. I find the option for it under menu but when i press the button to pull it up it only stays up for 10 seconds or so then goes away again, how can I get it to always appear on the display?

Not sure if this site will help or not as I don't have this phone system, but maybe you can make sense of it.
Best of luck.

SOURCE: Avaya 8434DX Display won't show date and time as normal display

You should be able to hit the Menu button, then the arrow directly below the TmDay display and then hit exit once the date and time are displayed. The date should disappear but the time should stay.

I need to display the time and date on this phone can you help mls-12d

Oh, so it displays a date and time, just not the CORRECT one?

From the phone connected to extension 10 or 11, press FEATURE the LIC (left intercom) twick and dial #101 Enter the date in MMDDYY format.

Day of the week is #102 if needed (2.0 or older software) with Sunday being 1, and the time is #103 in HHMM 24 hour format.

Pick up the handset2_bing.gif and drop it back in the cradle or press FEATURE to exit programming.
