While installing deep freeze my system rebooted and then some error happened. following which it kept on rebooting couple of times, so i used system restore setting to run it. when the system recovered i am not able to access controls/setting and c: drive. the task manager shows the file DF5serv.exe running. i couldnot access deep freeze control using ctrl, alt, shift,f6 and there is no icon on task bar. how do i remove this program from my system. help is greatly appreciated.
thanks
Try deleting it manually, go into safemode with cmd prompt only.
del c:\[filedir][filename]
it will induce an error next time it runs, but you can regedit.exe your way out of that one

i've been using deep freeze standard 6.3 for approximatly 1,5 years on windows vista, i haven't faced any problem with it, but after all this time, i decided to update my windows, it has been updated perfectly and i installed a couple of programs after that, but when i restarted my windows (without freezing the system), i found that my windows system has been frozen and the tray icon is disappeared, i tried everything to get to the deepfreeze window and get it thaw but i couldn't, i even pressed alt,ctl,shift,f6, but no use.
the buttom line, there is no deepfreeze tray icon, and i'm frozen forever.
i guess that i'm going to have to format....
