How do you do a master reset or master clear of a Motorola Rival cell phone? I'm having a problem with the display being a white screen and I'm just trying to see if the reset or clear will help. I have already tried *taking out the battery, *restarting it, *putting it on the charger...none of which has helped.

When a phone goes into bootloader mode, Most of the time there is a software problem. You will have to take it to a cell phone repair place to have the software reloaded. Also sometimes this happens when the unit gets wet.

There is a cable that conects the two sides of the phone... refered to as the flex cable when this goes bad it will cause display and sometimes speaker issues, your phone is still under warrenty take it back into your office to have it repaired. there is no quick fix to that problem.
