Jailbroke iphone was working fine but now has no service but every thing ealse works fine

First, call your carrier and have them reset you on the network.

If that does not work, put the sim card in a carrier branded phone. (a phone your carrier sells) then back in the iphone.

If that doesn't work it means that the turbosim (a very thin device that is installed on the sim card) has gone bad. This is the device that actually unlocks the iphone.

You will either need to get a new one, or look in to a software unlock that doesn't utilize the turbosim.

you need to restore it with itunes, then it will wipe it and load back to stock. Note that if you have jailbroke it so you an use any sim, that restoring may block using any sim. If the iphone was sim unlocked at factory then you will be fine

I have an im600 altec lansing. I've had it for at least a year. My iphone 3gs was being recognized and able to play its ipod through the docking station, but since I jailbroke it the iphone it hasn't...
I used a 2G jailbroken iPhone and it worked fine. Try looking elsewhere.
Example: my im600 was placed on a fridge (metal) that caused strange interference problems!!

Hi - I CAN DO IT!

I have had the same problem - phone was downgaded then completly was frozen and buttons didn't work.

I reflashed with 1.1.2 then downgraded to 1.1.1 then jailbroke then upgrade to 1.1.2 then jailbroke, now works great!

I don't know what service provider you are using, but if you try and use your SIM card on another phone and it dosen't work, then change your SIM card from your service provider. If it does, then maybe there are some settings on your iPhone that will stop transmission from your service provider. Check if your wireless is enabled. Hope this helps!
