Check for loose wiring connections between the t-stat and the elements. Sometimes it will melt the wires, sometimes it will burn the contacts inside the thermostat.

Did you look inside the oven area and the lower storage (if it has it) for the model number?

The gas for both passes thru the FMDA Safety Valve - in you case it's defective and must be replaced. You can find it here

Probably. There is often a key sequence that will enable a calibration mode. We need the full model number to find the tech info, or you can probably find it in the tech sheet which is normally taped on behind the control panel.

Is it a Vulcan Hart 3IFD50? if so look up Heritage Food Service Equipment web sight at www.hfse.com They will have any part you will need

use matches,the pilot ligth is hard to replace unless in the tecnician can do,and hard to find the parts.
