Hi! How do connect an equalizer to my Denon AVR-1803?

I find the best way to connect any equalizer is to connect via the tape monitor sockets, assuming that the AVR has one. From the equalizer in and out sockets - connect the Eq OUT to Tape IN on the AVR. And Eq IN to Tape OUT on the AVR.
Some AVR don't allow connections, due the equalizer interfering with Surround Sound systems. If you can connect switch off the equalizer when listening to Dolby or other surround formats, as it will spoil the sound.

No sound from new sony bravia to denon avr 1610

TV's are not your best source of audio. Get the TV-related audio digitally from the source, NOT the TV.

No sound when using Panny plasma with RX-V3800

Let me see if I understand. You have one HDMI cable linking your TV and AVR? This is only to send video and sound out to your TV from the AVR you will not be able to send sound back over this same cable. You'll have to use the TVs audio out and connect it to an input of the AVR. The "HDMI out" on the AVR is just that Out and not In. For more questions I'd recommend checking out the RX-V3800 RX-V1800 thread over on AVSforum.com

Lost audio for no apparent reason

Try unplugging your HDMI cable from the AVR I would like to see if your AVR is trying to use HDMI out instead of the composite. Next try plugging each device directly into your television, this will isolate the issue and tell us for sure whether or not it's the AVR.

Connecting wireless headphones

You should be able to get a cable with your headphone jack on one end and the standard left and right RCA jacks on the other end from just about any electronic store. Carl.
