GE used refrigerator....

I just got a used ridge and the freezer worked great . Then I decided it neede to be colder and cranked it down. Now it's barely freezing on the bottom and thr fridge isn't very cold either. Do I need to defrost it..did it "freeze up"??

I would try defrosting first. If no difference, or worse then you may have a refrigerant leak. You could always try setting back to the original setting. Hope this helps.
