Never heard of an 'Estate Washer' before, but seems to be Maytag or Whirlpool. The hide the model and serial numbers in a few places. Look where the wire enters the machine, look behind the control panel or just inside the lid. The even hide them behind the bottom kickplate. With a rear console control panel, there is often information for engineers in a plastic bag.

Most likely it is your pressure switch. Locate the switch on your machine and look for damage. if you have a multimeter use it to find any electrical issues if there is no reading the pressure switch needs to be replaced.

Whirlpool will put their fabric softener dispensers in one of 2 places. Either in the top of the agitator there will be a cup or in one of the front right hand corners (far less often). If you do not have either of these options, likely, it a model that did not come with one (not uncommon at all)
