I have an Olympus FE-370 digital camera and, though I've downloaded photos to my PC many times, I'm now having a problem. After I connect the USB cable from my camera to my PC and choose the correct menu option(s) on my camera to transfer photos, my camera screen keeps showing: NO CONNECTION.
Be sure that you plug original Olympus USB cable directly into USB port on mother board (ussualy on the back side of PC) not on the front pannel hub and not into extention USB cable.
I had the same problem and could not fix it, but instead of shipping the camera back or paying for a new cable I invested 11.99 in a universal memory card reader. It works fine and I can now transfer photos to the computer without using the cable.
IF THE CAMERA SHOWS THE SCREEN and THE COMPUTER DOESN'T GO 'BONGBING' when the menu option is selected, try a different usb cable, or usb port.

I've already tried different USB ports, and the cable is fine. (I've already used it to download photos successfully at least 8 or 10 times without a problem.) And, my computer DOES GO 'BONGBING' when the menu option is selected. Still, I'm having the same problem: NO CONNECTION.
I have a fe-370. I am trvelling so I don't have software. I am having problems uploading pics to the hard drive. I connect the camera with usb but it says "one moment" for the longest time. I don't think XP recognizes. Other cameras work here except mine.
